Are There Too Many Games? | APU Keynote

Are there too many games? It’s an odd question when coming out the mouth of a game developer; it’s even stranger when asking a bunch of people this question at the beginning of a game jam. This is precisely what I did to kick off the start of the 2023 Global Game Jam at Azusa Pacific University.

The ideas in the talk began as a blog post entitled Seeing Games Differently.

The video below is a re-recorded version of that talk. I hope you enjoy it.

PxlPug’s purpose is to create a healthy community where individuals are valued for who they are and are encouraged to grow into who they were created to be. The studio does this by crafting games that bring people together.

A designer, developer, and entrepreneur, he has a passion for creating video games and a proven track record with over 25 shipped titles and 3+ million downloads.
